SMMMRF is established with the aim to provide various medical facilities for the needy and   poor people and to create awareness among the public about preventing programs for diseases like AIDS, Drug adictions  through health education and counselling.  SMMMRF will also established Research Centers on several areas such as Cancer, Aging, Opthalmology, Maternal and Neonatal Health,  Psychiatric and psychosocial rehabilitation, etc.
